I'm on business cipralex hap The format has changed very little since. Around four-fifths of teenagers who attend a selection week win a place, and they must then spend the rest of the year raising the £5,500 cost of their trip. (The charity gives fundraising tips and encourages them to apply for grants.) They return to Coll for a week of training, then depart in pairs to one of 25 countries – from Chile to China, South Africa and Namibia – to start work. “Volunteers get involved in all sorts of things,” says John Fraser, overseas director, who has worked for the charity for 32 years. “They do things way beyond the call of duty on their projects – learning languages and setting up music groups. One delivered a baby in a hurricane in Jamaica.”
